You’ll need to be organised and able to communicate effectively - ensuring wards and departments are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.

Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital


You will provide supervision, instruction and training to our team of Housekeeping Assistants.

Allocate staffing to ensure priorities are met and cleaning frequencies are maintained.

Lead and work as part of a team to ensure high standards of cleanliness are achieved and maintained.

The Housekeeping team are responsible for the cleaning of the whole Royal Bournemouth site you will be allocated a zone of the site on each shift look after, visiting the Housekeeping Assistants on duty in their location of work.

Travel from the postholder's home to the new work base will be considered a normal commute. Any other changes not related to this relocation will be managed according to the relevant Trust or National terms and conditions.

This post is part of the Operational Estates service that UHD may transfer to an NHS ‘wholly owned subsidiary’; the proposed date of transfer is October 2025.
