The Role
As a Bookkeeper, you'll play a crucial role in their financial operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Communicating with clients to address their accounting needs.
- Visiting clients to provide personalised service.
- Creating and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Managing bookkeeping tasks to ensure compliance and precision.
- Assisting in preparing financial reports when necessary.
This is a part-time role offering flexible hours that can accommodate your schedule. You'll be expected to work 20 hours a week, with the flexibility to choose your hours anytime between 9am to 5pm - perfect for those balancing school runs or other commitments.
The Ideal Candidate
They are looking for someone who:
- Is qualified through either a recognised qualification, such as AAT, or possesses relevant experience.
- Has a minimum of 2 years' experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role.
- Possesses excellent communication skills, particularly in liaising with clients.
- Is detail-focused, with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
- Can effectively manage time and juggle multiple tasks.
- Is a team player who contributes positively to their collaborative environment.
