ROLE DESCRIPTION

We're looking for a motivated and proactive Work Experience Coordinator to join our Careers and Work Experience team. In this rewarding role, you will play a key part in supporting learners to gain meaningful, high-quality work experience placements that equip them with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to thrive in the world of work.


What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate and deliver a robust work experience programme aligned with learner aspirations and curriculum needs.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with employers across a wide range of industries.
  • Support students in developing work-readiness skills through engaging workshops and 1:1 support.
  • Ensure all placements meet health and safety and safeguarding standards.
  • Collaborate with curriculum staff to enhance learner progress and ensure employer engagement is embedded throughout the academic journey.
  • Promote success stories and positive employer interactions via marketing channels.

What We're Looking For:


You'll be someone who is highly organised, personable, and passionate about learner development. You will bring:

  • Essential: 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths), NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and experience working with young people in a support capacity.
  • Desirable: A qualification in teaching, mentoring or advice & guidance (or willingness to work towards one).
  • Experience building strong relationships with external partners, particularly employers.
  • Strong organisational, communication and IT skills.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to transport is beneficial.
