This position is for an HCPC registered Clinical Scientist but other registration or ability to register within one year of acceptance of the position would be considered. This would be reflected in the salary for the first 12 months of employment as described below. If applicants that do not meet all the essential criteria are short listed for interview and perform well, there may be opportunity to appoint on a training band until all the essential criteria are met. This would be at their current band 6 salary point or on annex 21 of band 7 (whichever is higher). This will enable STP completing training in the next academic year to apply or for applicants who will be able to achieve HCPC registration within 12 months of commencing e.g. by undertaking STP equivalence route through AHCS or the HCPC international registration route.
