Summary

Royal Holloway is undertaking an exciting portfolio of digital projects (Digital Plan) in support of our University strategic plan. The IT function is central in the College’s business strategy, offering outstanding opportunities to be part of a transformation programme whilst building and advancing your career.

The Digital Plan comprises four work-streams:

1. Safe & Secure Infrastructure
Projects that transform the underlying infrastructure in areas such as cyber security, hybrid cloud infrastructure and networks.
2. Digitisation
Projects that support the digitisation of the student experience to transform the learning for our students.
3. Simplification & Value
Projects that drive simplification in business processes and support automation and simplification.
4. Rolling Roadmap
Projects that support the regular roadmap of the university that are often regularly repeated, such a start of session activities and infrastructure refreshes.

As an IT Infrastructure PM you will take ownership for the delivery of multiple projects / deliverables of different scales in workstreams 1 and 4. You will have responsibility to scope, design, plan, resource, cost, and implement your project(s). You will operate within a PMO framework; ensure solutions are implemented taking account of the change management aspects, and the solutions are transferred into business-as-usual operations using ITIL standards and established governance routes in support of architectural principles.
