Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance apprentice to join our Parks and Streetscene team.
The Parks and Streetscene team cover 245 square miles across the borough, you will play a major role in undertaking grounds maintenance working in parks, open spaces and other public areas where you will learn how to carry out activities such as grass cutting, hedge trimming and pruning, planting and grass seeding as well as using hand tools, plant and machinery.

Full UK driving licence
Motivation and willingness to learn
To be able to communicate both written and orally
Good organisation
You will work towards an apprentice standard in amenity horticulture and will also undertake a training programme designed to develop your skills and knowledge.
