Summary
Skilled Fabricator (Permanent, Full-Time)
Location: Renown Group, [Cramlington / NE location]
Hours: 4-day week (Mon–Thurs, 7:00–16:45)
Renown Group is looking for experienced Skilled Fabricators to join our growing team. This is a permanent opportunity to work on varied and challenging projects in a well-established engineering company with a reputation for quality and innovation.
What You’ll Do
Work from detailed engineering drawings to tight tolerances and deadlines
Fabricate components using steel section & plate (3mm – 50mm)
Operate overhead cranes for assembly
Work independently and as part of a team to meet project targets
Support overtime when required
Essential Skills & Experience
Competent in the use of MIG welding and able to fabricate with or without fixtures
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience with sheet metal equipment (press tools, guillotines, etc.)
Proven marking-out and fabrication skills
Desirable (but not essential)
TIG welding experience
Forklift licence
First Aid training
