Our Pool Lifeguard job is a LIFESAVING OPPORTUNITY and perfect for anyone wanting a career in Leisure.



We are looking for someone with the right skills and behaviours - so even if you are not NPLQ qualified, please apply as we may be able to fund this for you.



Starting salary of over £23.5k (pro rata)



Help people of all ages live well & for longer by giving them a safe and happy experience when they come swimming. Pool Lifeguards ensure swimmers and non-swimmers keep coming back to their local swimming pool time and time again to enjoy activities such as lane swimming, pool parties, family swims and swimming lessons - creating lasting happy memories of their local swimming pool.

Hours; Various hours available

Hours will include earlies, daytime, evenings and weekends



Salary; £24,099 per annum pro rata.



Location; Poynton Leisure Centre

Everybody swimming pools are open 7 days a week – generally from 6am to 10pm (subject to each pool’s programme) and our lifeguards work on shift rota basis across the week and weekends.




Please be aware that all candidates applying for roles within our leisure centres or in health/sports provision are required to undergo a Standard or Enhanced DBS.



As part of this process, you are required to declare any information that may be disclosed in your DBS check before the check is initiated. This includes all criminal convictions or cautions, including traffic offences.
