Summary

CIS Security has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Security Officer to join our brand-new team at a new prestigious site, this refurbished office building catering to modern occupants, including a 1,500 sq. ft rooftop pavilion offering panoramic views of St Paul's Cathedral and the City.The building will also feature 20,000 sq. ft of outdoor terrace amenities, including urban greenery, biodiversity, and ample outdoor space on upper floors. The reception area on Basinghall Street will be expanded and a new entrance will be added on Coleman Street, along with a "pocket park" and additional retail amenities.As an ambassador of CIS Security, you will represent both our brand and our customer, delivering a professional, customer-focused security service. The building will be run by sophisticated technology with a very collaborative service team.Information:Position: Corporate Security OfficerLocation: London (EC2V)Pay Rate: £14.26 per hourHours: Average 42 hours per weekShifts: 4 On 4 Off - Days & NightsJob Requirements:SIA Licence required DS preferredCorporate Security, Concierge, hospitality background, or Front-of-House experience for at least 1 year is advantageousFlexible availability for working days, nights, and weekends, and adapting to operational needsProvide impeccable customer service, ensuring all staff, visitors, and service users receive a 5-star experienceConduct opening and closing procedures, internal and external patrols, and monitor access controlManage emergency situations, respond quickly, and follow site-specific proceduresOperate CCTV systems and manage security systems with high competencyMaintain incident logs and ensure all paperwork is up to dateAudits are completed for site and training to those who are newKey control and permit checksEnsure safety and security protocols are strictly followed, including conducting security checks and managing emergency alarmsProfessional communication with site personnel and escalation of any incidents to appropriate managementUse a range of monitoring and communication facilities to ensure site security, following protocol at all times.Job Responsibilities:SIA CCTV Licence is desirable, with knowledge of local area security operations being an advantageExcellent communication skills - both verbal and written - with a strong command of EnglishIT proficiency is a must, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and other security management systemsBe able to act decisively under pressure, particularly during emergency or high-stress situationsStrong interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork, but also able to work independentlyMust have First Aid training and completed all EdApp coursesPhysically fit, as the role requires patrolling and standingEfficient in incident report writing, and able to handle corporate emails professionallyEscalation skills - able to communicate incidents to the correct personnel efficiently, following corporate escalation processesImmaculate personal presentation and reliability are essential to uphold the company’s professional imageYou are calm under pressure and maintain professionalism in confrontational situationsYou possess a courteous and outgoing demeanour, with excellent customer service skillsAble to handle diverse responsibilities, such as issuing access passes, monitoring life safety systems, and supporting the control room team when neededYou can demonstrate a thorough understanding of emergency protocols, access control procedures, and incident managementAble to collaborate as a team member and across service partners.Benefits:Health care plan (HSF)Perk Box (HSF) - discounts & offers from cinema tickets to days outCycle to work schemeTailed Site UniformFirst class training allowing you to develop your skillsA view for career developmentLong service & Employee Recognition awardsCIS Security has been providing manned guarding services since 1972 and has developed into one of the most effective and reliable security companies in England.
