Summary
Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity available for a CNC Machinist with experience in milling and turning in Eurocentral, North Lanarkshire on a permanent basis.
Rate of pay: £32,943 per annum, (increases up to £49,292 per annum after shift allowances, bonuses etc).
Schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off (2 day shifts and 2 night shifts)
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to a good level of quality that will meet our client's standards. You will also be responsible for:
- Producing according to drawings and specifications
- Adjusting the operation of the machine, including cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut, when required
- Looking for areas of improvement and opportunities to reduce waste
- Following all safety procedures and policies
The ideal CNC Machinist will have the following knowledge, skills, and competencies:
- Programming and setting skills in Siemens control (essential)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Completed a machining apprenticeship
