Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Recovery and Business Rates Team for a Trainee Recovery Officer. Are you a talented and driven individual looking to launch or restart your career with Chelmsford City Council? The Trainee Recovery Officer will assist with the recovery and enforcement of unpaid council tax, business rates and benefit overpayments and have the opportunity to learn all aspects of the role.

The successful applicant will have a positive attitude to learning and developing new skills. The role requires accuracy, a commitment to customer service and clear and assertive communication skills.

The post holder will be required to work 37 hours per week Monday to Friday and will be able to work from home with minimal need to visit the office, subject to successful completion of training.
