The role of a Cover Supervisor includes:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of a teacher

  
  

• Managing classroom behaviour to maintain a positive learning environment

  
  

• Encouraging student participation and ensuring lessons stay on track

  
  

• Adapting to different year groups and subject areas within the school

  
  

• Providing support and guidance to students during their learning

  
  

  The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

  • CACHE Level 2/3 qualification OR at least 6 months classroom experience

    
    

  • Confidence and resilience to lead classes of students aged 11–16

    
    

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

    
    

  • Flexibility to work across different departments and year groups
