We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Personal Assistant (PA) to provide support for a young adult who requires full assistance with daily living. The individual requires one-to-one care.
The role will also include accompanying him to Chailey Heritage Foundation three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), ensuring safe and timely transport to accompany him and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Accompany to Chailey Heritage Foundation and provide support during attendance.
- Assist with feeding, drinking, and administering medication (training provided).
- Support with mobility and use of equipment.
- Provide full personal care: washing, showering, toileting, and dressing.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and monitor wellbeing.
- Offer companionship and encourage engagement in daily activities.
- Ensure confidentiality and dignity at all times.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Good level of spoken and written English.
- Reliable, empathetic, and respectful.
- Comfortable with personal care and working within a set shift pattern.
Desirable
- Previous care experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided.
- Open to candidates from all backgrounds and sectors.
