What you'll be working: Our standard working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. However, we understand the importance of a positive work-life balance, and therefore, if you require some flexibility to better suit your personal or professional needs, we encourage you to discuss this with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences where possible. What you'll be doing: Provide comprehensive assessment, advice, and treatment of clients following life changing catastrophic injury Manage own caseload working as an autonomous practitioner Provide Occupational Therapist as part of the multidisciplinary team, and be involved in interdisciplinary team service developments, meetings and audit as appropriate Demonstrate empathy with distressed clients, carers/ families and colleagues, ensuring that effective communication is achieved, particularly where barriers to understanding exist Undertake continuous professional development and invest in the team by promoting excellent skills and embedding innovation Write reports in a range of styles as well as keeping up to date with clinical record keeping Keep an overview of treatment programmes to ensure they are aligned with clinical recommendations and the rehabilitation package commissioned for each client Take responsibility for defined areas of clinical specialism, developing advanced skills and sharing knowledge and skills with others via mentorship, training and joint sessions.
