Summary

We are looking for five Operatives to join our Transportation team in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. This contract covers local highways throughout the county, where you will work as part of a team delivering routine maintenance, winter service, emergency response, and reactive repair works.

Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire

Hours: Permanent, Fulltime 40 hours per week

Salary: £25,958 - £30,097 per year + benefits

What will you be responsible for?

As an Operative, you'll carry out routine maintenance activities on the network.

Your day to day will include:

-Carrying out highway maintenance duties

-Being part of the winter maintenance and emergency callouts

-Assist with ensuring that site and company equipment is always secure

-Carry out daily defect reports on vehicles and ensure vehicles are maintained in good order

-Contribute to the promotion of customer care by working closely with team members to ensure client and network users are dealt with in a polite and courteous manner



What are we looking for?

This role of Operative is great if you:

-Have experience in highways maintenance

-12d Lantra Traffic Management

-LGV driving licence
