Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has a passion for working with children and making a difference.
As a playworker you will help to set up different stimulating activities such as organised crafts and sports. You will also need to create play spaces where the children are free to use resources and create their own environment.
Ability to build effective and strong relationships with children and parents is essential, as well as to adjust plans to meet the needs of the children.
You must be flexible and adapt to a changing environment.
Childcare experience is preferred but not essential as options for further training will be available.
You must be able to ensure a safe and clean environment for the children at all times, which includes risk assessing different types of play and activities.
An ideal candidate would work well as part of a team and bring new skills to our staff group.
