Summary


We are seeking a Service Manager for the Integrated Sexual Health Service in North Central London, which also includes HIV services delivered from the Mortimer Market Centre. The successful candidate will take on managerial responsibility for planning and overseeing the operational delivery of sexual health and HIV services. Working closely with other Service Managers across the North Central London area and the senior leadership team, the post holder will play a vital role in ensuring services are effective, meet quality standards, achieve financial and commissioning targets, and respond to the needs of patients.
• Provide managerial oversight to ensure the smooth and effective operational running of the service, including robust financial management aligned with Service, Divisional, and Trust targets.
• Collaborate with the Deputy Service Director to implement the strategic direction of the service at an operational level.
• Act as a key member of the senior leadership team, participating in service management, decision-making, and offering expert advice and guidance to leadership colleagues.

CNWL provides Sexual Health and HIV Services across North Central London and in Surrey. As well as clinic based services, the service also delivers community health promotion outreach, a dedicated young people’s service and Learning Disabilities services.

• Ensure effective performance management and leadership of the workforce.

• Deliver effective leadership and direction to Team Managers.

• Ensure services are cost effective and delivered within budget.

• Lead change management in the implementation of service development strategies.

• Create a culture in which innovative ideas and strategies can flourish and provide vision and inspiration to enable staff to deliver care

more effectively.

• Deliver robust financial management in line with targets, including the Cost Improvement Programme (CIP).

• Ensure services meet care quality and performance management standards.

• Represent the service at external meetings.
