As a Porter at North Devon District Hospital, you’ll be an essential part of patient care and hospital operations – ensuring safe, timely, and supportive service to staff, patients, and visitors alike.

What you’ll do:

  • Transport patients, equipment, and supplies across the hospital safely and efficiently

  • Support clinical and non-clinical teams with essential services

  • Follow health and safety standards, including infection control and manual handling procedures

  • Deliver excellent customer service, supporting patients and staff with care and professionalism

What you’ll bring:

  • A caring and reliable approach to supporting others

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

  • Willingness to undertake training in line with role requirements

  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and service
