As a Porter at North Devon District Hospital, you’ll be an essential part of patient care and hospital operations – ensuring safe, timely, and supportive service to staff, patients, and visitors alike.
What you’ll do:
Transport patients, equipment, and supplies across the hospital safely and efficiently
Support clinical and non-clinical teams with essential services
Follow health and safety standards, including infection control and manual handling procedures
Deliver excellent customer service, supporting patients and staff with care and professionalism
What you’ll bring:
A caring and reliable approach to supporting others
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Willingness to undertake training in line with role requirements
A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and service
