HGV Class 1 Driver - Trunking

Swindon | £17.50 - £20.50 per hour | Immediate Starts Available | Ongoing | Temp to Perm | No weekends

Acorn by Synergie is urgently recruiting HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) Drivers to join our client's busy trunking operation in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking regular night work with competitive pay and the potential for long-term opportunities.

Pay Rates:
  • £17.50 per hour (PAYE).
  • £20.50 per hour (UMB PAYE).
  • Minimum 8 hours paid per shift.
Start Times:
  • Between 5pm and 11:59pm.
  • Monday to Friday only (no weekend work).
The Role:
  • Trunking work using double-deck trailers.
  • No manual handling - straightforward depot-to-depot work.
  • Completing all paperwork accurately.
  • Maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle.
  • Representing the company in a professional and customer-focused manner.

Requirements:
  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) licence.
  • CPC and Digi Tacho card.
  • Previous experience with double-deck trailers preferred.
