Salary: £13.21 per hour
Job Purpose
The role is to provide, to an extremely high standard, cleaning and general housekeeping tasks for a private residence, two holiday cottages and a commercial office.
The position offers a guaranteed minimum of 10 hours per week, consisting of daytime and one evening per week and from May to Sept Saturday working. Flexibility is essential, as dependant on bookings, is likely to increase to 20 hours per week. Applicant must have a full driving license and own their own vehicle as the residence does not have public transport links.
Duties and responsibilities
Office Cleaning (Inform Health Offices, Aura Business Centre)
Cleaning and sanitising tabletops, desks and flat surfaces to ensure a dust free environment.
Vacuuming and cleaning floors.
Internal window cleaning.
Emptying bins and ensuring communal areas are presented to a high standard.
Using cleaning equipment and products safely and as instructed.
Reporting any damages, maintenance issues or necessary repairs.
Holiday Cottages and Residence (The Bakehouse, Custard Cottage, Croft House)
Cleaning and changeover of two cottages on guest change over days. Including full cleaning, bed changing and restocking of toiletries and linens.
Management of cottage washing.
Ironing of cottage linens.
Maintaining stock levels of cleaning products and guest consumables, purchasing when required.
Cleaning of cottage gardens furniture and sweeping of outside spaces when required.
Managing hot tubs (one per cottage), including testing and restocking chemicals, in line with training provided.
Ensuring a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout all properties.

Work Experience
Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper, with a willingness to learn new cleaning methods and how to use various pieces of equipment
Ability to work with little supervision and always maintain a high level of performance.
Typical hours of work
Guaranteed Hours
Inform Health offices
4 hours per week on average. Shifts will be scheduled for one evening or on a weekend.
Croft House
6 hours per week. 10am to 4pm one day, mid week.
Additional Hours (subject to bookings)
The Bakehouse & Custard Cottage
10am to 4pm Mondays and Fridays from Mid-September to Mid-May.
