Summary
We are a Furniture Manufacturer who have been in business for 30+ years.
Based in Loughborough we are looking for the right skilled candidate to join our team on a temporary contract with the possibility to extend
Our preference is someone who has had experience in making furniture and working in a workshop. This is repetitive work so someone who is happy to do this every day and working on site fitting the furniture to a high standard.
Job Outline:-
- Assembly of furniture to a high standard of accuracy
- Use of hand tools for assembly
- Can use a saw for machining the material
Requirements:
- Proven experience in furniture manufacturing preferably
- Able to use hand tools
- Articulate and methodical
- Physically able to lift and move finished furniture/load vans. Our furniture is very heavy so must be strong
- Ability to follow verbal instructions
- Good eye for detail
- Enthusiasm for furniture assembly
- Common sense
- Most importantly a great sense of humor!
- Drivers license
Schedule:
8 hour shift (on occasion some days will be longer if working in another city)
Day shift
Joinery: 1 year
Carpentry: 1 year
On-site parking
Experience:
joinery: 1 years (preferred)
Must have driving license
Expected start date: 29/08/2025
