Are you a physiotherapist keen to work in a first-class teaching hospital in our award-winning service? Are you committed to the provision of evidence informed practice and the development of motivated junior staff? Do you want to work in an environment with world class facilities with a focus on manual and exercise therapy; education of undergraduate and postgraduate students; research, service development and clinical audit?
To provide specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapy treatment to outpatients as part of the overall therapy provision. The post holder will be responsible for their own caseload providing thorough clinical assessment, planning treatment and appropriate discharge from the service adapting practice to suit the needs of the patient. To provide clinical supervision and appraisal to junior staff, therapy assistants and students. To provide specialist outpatient physiotherapy to patients with a wide range of acute and long term conditions. To adapt physiotherapy practice to suit the needs of the patient. To provide clinical supervision and appraisal for junior staff, therapy rehabilitation assistants and students. Participate in ongoing service evaluation and development.
