Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisenfor anenthusiasticand motivatedLead Administratorto work alongsideand supportouradministrationteam. You will be carrying out and supervisingthe day-to-day administration tasks for referrals to theCAMHS teams.As Lead Administrator,you will also be the first point of contact for theManagers andClinicalTeamLeads,ConsultantPsychiatristsandclinicians.The post is for 30hours,ie4 daysa week9am -5pm(0.8wte). You will bebased atErleghHouse,in theUniversity of Reading.
You will have excellent communication andorganisationalskills;have the ability tomulti-taskandprioritise, be familiar with the Trust computer systems and have very good IT skills. You will need to beefficient in using Teams, Outlook,Exceland Word packages.Youwill havepreviousexperience ofsupervising others,andadministrationexperienceis essential to the role, as well as a resilience to deal with its fast pace, patient-focusandthesometimes emotionally distressing nature of mental health issues.
TheCAMHSTeams provideassessments, therapeutic interventions, and care coordination for children and young people whoare experiencing moderate to severe complexmental health difficulties. We work as a close and supportive multi-disciplinary team and in partnership with other CAMHS teams and external agencies to provide high quality and holistic mental health care to young people.
• Tolead and support theCAMHS administrationteambycoordinatingand actioningtheincoming day to day administration tasksfrom all members of the clinical teams.
• You will deal with telephone enquiries from patients, carers,staffand other professionals in a careful and sensitive way and takingappropriate actionin a timely manner.
• 1:1 supervision and appraisals for the administration team.
• Using e Roster system to input annual leave requests and sickness absence.
• Liaising with Estates/IT and other services to resolve daily issues.
• To support theBusiness Support Manager, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
• Helping with the recruitment and induction of new administrative staff and supporting new starters/clinical trainees.
• Preparing documentation and collating dataandagendafor the Team Business Meeting.
• Minute taking and distribution, following up on actions and being aware of meeting deadlines.
• Input confidential correspondence,produce requestedreports and other documentation to a high standard within an agreed timescale using software packages.
• You will be expected to act on your own initiativeto ensure the effective running of the service, prioritising your own workload with guidance from the Team Lead and Business Support Manager.

The “must haves” for this role:
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
• Knowledge and experience of administration leadership, supervision, and management of administration staffand staff appraisals.
• European Computer Driving Licence or equivalent knowledge and experience of using a variety of software programmes, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams.
• Excellent digital typing skills.
