Summary
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our successful client based in the Lincoln LN5 area.
Shift pattern:
Mon-Fri 04.00-13.30 ⏰
HGV Class 2 Driver - Duties & Responsibilities
The right person will be responsible for driving the refuse collection lorry and collecting/emptying food bins from residential and commercial premises.
A minimum of 90 days experience within the last 6 months on HGV Class 2 driving is essential.
Drive and operate a class 2 refuse lorry,
Collect food wate from a different local area each day of the week
Emptying food waste bins around Lincolnshire
Some heavy lifting involved
Maintain awareness of other vehicles or people on the road and operate the lorry safely
One-person team
HGV Class 2 Driver - Person Specification
UK HGV Class 2 driving license (minimum 6 months)
Digital tachograph card & CPC card
Ability to provide a professional waste management service to residential customers
Excellent, professional work ethic
Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage.
