Kisharon Langdon UK have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join their growing team in Golders Green & Hendon, North West London.

Kisharon Langdon are a newly merged charity offering a wider breadth of services of enhanced quality, enabling us to better support people with a learning disability and autistic people and their families. From nursery and school to further education, through to employment opportunities and supported living, Kisharon Langdon will enable people with a learning disability and autistic people to thrive and realise their ambitions and aspirations. The Role:

As a Support Worker you will be required to work individually and as part of a team to support and enable people to live as independently as possible. You will also be responsible for working with our employment team to facilitate employment opportunities and assisting and supporting people to enjoy an active social life and Jewish observance.

You will be required to work flexible hours which will involve working early and late shifts, including sleep-ins, weekends and bank holidays in accordance with peoples' needs.

About you:

With NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care level 2, Care Certificate or equivalent experience, you must have a good standard of written English. Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential as is holding a current full driving licence. Understanding / awareness of or willingness to learn about Jewish culture is essential. Full training will be given to the successful applicant.
