HR Administrator – Manufacturing Environment
Location: Bradford
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised HR Administrator to join our friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity if you’ve had some exposure to HR and want to build on your skills in a supportive environment.
Working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, you’ll get involved in all aspects of HR – from recruitment and onboarding to payroll, training, and supporting employee engagement. You don’t need years of HR experience; what matters most is your enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and ability to stay organised.
What You’ll Be Doing
Keeping employee records accurate and up to date, while helping us stay compliant with things like GDPR and right-to-work checks.
Preparing contracts, offer letters, and onboarding paperwork for new starters.
Supporting recruitment activities such as posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and liaising with agencies.
Helping new employees settle in with inductions, welcome packs, and probation reviews.
Updating HR systems with starters, leavers, absences, holidays, and training records.
Liaising with our payroll provider to ensure staff are paid correctly and on time.
Being a friendly first point of contact for HR queries.
Taking notes in employee relations meetings and supporting HR communications.
Booking training and keeping records up to date, especially for compliance-related training like health & safety.
What We’re Looking For
Someone organised, approachable, and keen to learn.
Great attention to detail and able to handle confidential information.
A good communicator who enjoys working with people at all levels.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office
Previous experience in an admin role, ideally with some HR exposure.
Why Join Us?
This is a chance to grow your HR career with plenty of variety and hands-on experience. You’ll be part of a welcoming team where your ideas are valued, and you’ll get the opportunity to learn and develop while making a real difference to the people you support.
