Summary

Hours of work: 37 hours per week (full-time), term time only plus 15 days (including INSET days). 52-week contract may be considered.


Grade: RS04 points 10 to 22


About this Role

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Admissions Officer to join our Admissions Team. As the Admissions Officer you will play a vital role in ensuring an efficient and smooth admissions process for new students and their families.


You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the admissions cycle, from co-ordinating the entrance exams through to enrolment of new students. Working closely with the Director of Admissions and other key staff members, your role will help maintain our school’s excellent reputation and ensure a seamless experience for our prospective families.


What you’ll do:


Act as the first point of contact for prospective students and families, handling all initial enquiries.
Manage the application process for all new students.
Organise admissions events, such as open days and new student induction days.
Co-ordinate and plan our entrance exams and related activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant policies, legislation and regulations.

What we’re looking for:


An efficient and meticulous organiser with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience of working collaboratively within a team environment.
Desirable: experience of working in a school’s admissions setting.
