Are you passionate about working outdoors and skilled in operating tractors? Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of Forestry England for reliable and experienced Tractor Drivers. Join the UK's largest landowner and play an essential role in maintaining woodlands, trails, and countryside across beautiful natural landscapes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a full-time, permanent position where you'll be working outdoors, supporting conservation efforts, and being part of a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate tractors to carry out mowing, flailing, and other maintenance along roadsides and woodland trails.
  • Perform basic maintenance and safety checks on tractors and equipment.
  • Deliver materials and equipment to various work sites across forestry locations.
  • Collect and record environmental data, including boundary inspections and tree density surveys.
  • Collaborate with team members to tackle daily tasks and unexpected challenges.
  • Represent Forestry England professionally when interacting with contractors, visitors, and the local community.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience operating tractors in outdoor environments.
  • Comfortable working in forestry, conservation, or countryside settings.
  • Ability to use hand tools and carry out practical, hands-on tasks.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • First aid qualification is desirable but not essential (training can be provided).
