Crynodeb
This role is critical in supporting the Organisation data infrastructure, enabling high-quality reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
The post holder will be responsible for supporting for the design, development, and maintenance of the Trust data warehouse and associated reporting systems. They will work closely with clinical, operational, IT and BI colleagues to ensure data solutions meet the evolving needs of the organisation, including statutory reporting, service planning, and performance monitoring.
This role requires a strong understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and business intelligence tools, along with a commitment to data quality, security, and governance. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the organisation’s digital transformation and strategic goals through innovative data solutions.

• Support the day-to-day management and continuous development of the data warehouse and its associated systems, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with the evolving needs of the organisation.
• Proactively identify, manage, and deliver development projects to enhance the functionality, performance, and usability of the data warehouse and reporting infrastructure.
• Maintain and validate data systems to ensure they remain accurate, reliable, and compliant with national and local information governance standards, including statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in data warehousing, cloud platforms (e.g. Azure), and business intelligence, evaluating their relevance and applicability to the Trust’s needs.
• Commit to continuous professional development, including formal training, peer learning, and self-directed study, to keep pace with technological advancements and evolving data practices.
• Apply insights from research and learning to introduce and refine data warehousing and reporting processes that support evidence-based clinical and operational decision-making, contributing to the Trust’s strategic goals.
• Operate within a structured development framework to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and secure data solutions that meet user requirements and organisational priorities.
