Summary
Carer/Personal Assistant, Direct Payment, Borrowash of Derbyshire, DERSS2608
This position is supporting a female in the Borrowash area of Derbyshire.
The role consists of supporting a female with Angelmans Syndrome and Epilepsy with physical and cognitive needs including using a walker and a wheelchair based in her family home. She has a vacancy for a Personal Assistant to work alongside an existing team of other Personal Assistants. Duties will include but aren’t limited to: supporting with social/outdoor activities such as swimming, personal care/hygiene routine and to support her in his varied day to day lifestyle and promote independence.
The ideal candidate will be positive, caring and patient. Must be able to handle the physical skills of lifting, handling, pushing and bending. Experience of care work would be beneficial but full training will be given. Ideally a car driver.
This is a permanent contract.
Working Hours – 16 hours per week, opportunity for more hours
3 x 6 hours shifts
