This role is a key part of the Music Centre’s highly skilled team, supporting the development of the Laidlaw Music Centre’s future potential and the delivering a busy, varied programme of performances, events, rehearsals, lessons, recordings, live streams, and classes.
Reporting to the Head of Programming and working closely with the Head of Music Technology, the post holder will ensure the safe, efficient, and sustainable delivery of activities in partnership with colleagues, clients, and external partners, including support for outreach initiatives.
Responsibilities include enabling performances and events, maintaining specialist equipment and systems, and assisting with premises upkeep. The post holder will also provide front-of-house support, manage technical requirements, and coordinate small teams of part-time and volunteer ushers.
We are looking for someone with a background or demonstrable experience in audio, music technology, or similar fields, who can apply their skills flexibly and thrive in a fast-paced events environment.
