Salary will be £15.00 - £16.00 per hour depending on experience.

This role is full time with a working pattern of 37.5 hours per week, 5 over 7 days. Flexibility may be required by mutual agreement and there may be some weekend and public holiday working.

In this role be responsible for supervising the cold production unit which will prepare all food to a high standard, including fresh salads, filled baguettes, rolls, various desserts, as well as an agreed food to go range for delivered catering and all retail units. This will consist of organising and processing internal orders, organising the team’s day to day preparation, and ordering all food.

You will support the UGCL Chef Manager and Head Chef with the delivery of a market leading customer experience, achieving food cost targets and focusing on great execution of the food offer, whilst following set recipe specifications and costings. You will remain abreast of current and forthcoming food trends and dietary requirements.

All of this is underpinned by a passion for food quality and presentation.
