Summary
A wonderful family in the Balham area is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their two school-aged children. They are looking for someone warm, engaging, and reliable, ideally with a background in education or a strong interest in arts, music, or creative activities. The role will involve general childcare duties along with light housekeeping related to the children. There is a strong preference for Czech speakers; however, English-speaking candidates will also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 4:30 pm to 7:30 or 8 pm
Duties include:
Collecting the children from school and ensuring their safety on the way home
Cooking and preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children
Assisting with washing, dressing, and general personal care routines
Supervising homework and encouraging a positive learning environment
Organising and participating in after-school activities to keep the children engaged
Preparing recreational activities that support both physical and mental development
Supporting structured yet enjoyable after-school routines
Maintaining a clean, organised, and tidy environment for the children
Engaging the children in creative activities such as arts, crafts, and board games
Taking the children on outings, including trips to local parks and playgrounds
They are looking for someone who can start on the 3rd of September 2025.
