Beauty/Hair Tutor – Reading Beauty Training Limited
Location: Reading, Berkshire, UK
Job Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £41,700 – £43,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Beauty/Hair Tutor to deliver high-quality training across a range of beauty/hair courses, including one-day workshops, short courses, and leading to future apprenticeships. The successful candidate will design engaging training programmes, deliver hands-on sessions, and support learners to achieve their full potential while staying up to date with the latest industry techniques and standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, teach, and assess learners throughout their training journey.
• Deliver engaging workshops and practical demonstrations (e.g. threading, waxing, henna, skincare, makeup, hair styling, nail care).
• Manage learner enrolment, induction, progress tracking, and assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback and develop learner action plans.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and equality policies.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to standardisation exercises.
• Keep up to date with industry developments and complete regular CPD.
• Promote equality, diversity, and inclusive learning.
• Travel to different training locations as required.

Requirements
• Proven experience as a Beauty Therapist/Hair artist and/or Tutor.
• Strong knowledge of beauty and hair techniques, products, and trends.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire learners with different learning styles.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience developing training materials and providing constructive feedback.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and equality.
• For migrant applicants, a Bachelor's degree and/or a Master’s degree are compulsory.
• UK Applicants must hold a Level 3 and Level 4 award in CET/CTLLS (quality assurance will be beneficial).
