UHI Perth is one of Scotland’s leading colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who will be able to deliver and demonstrate all aspects of Health, Wellbeing and Social Services in a
range of teaching environments. Your skills should be current and occupational experience is essential.
You will deliver teaching in all aspects of Health, Wellbeing and Social Services from NQ and NC Health and Social Care (SCQF Levels 5 & 6) to HNC Healthcare
Practice and HNC Social Services (SCQF Level 7) and BA Health and Social
Studies (levels 7-10). Ideally the successful applicant should be able to deliver
applied anatomy and physiology and health related biology units to students. Previous teaching experience is desirable and a teaching qualification (TQFE) or similar would be advantageous. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will currently be working within or have experience of Further and Higher Education and will be able to provide specialist knowledge to contextualise the learning and teaching.
You must have clear and confident communication skills, the ability to relate well to others and work as part of a team, good planning and organisational skills, be initiative and self-motivation.
