Summary
About the roleAs a technician 3, we are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Windows 11 Deployment Engineer to support a large-scale OS migration project. You'll play a key role in upgrading end-user devices to Windows 11, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency across the organisation.
Shifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)Location - City Centre 8 Surrey Street - Norwich NR1 3NGContract Duration - 3 months
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute Windows 11 deployment across enterprise environments
- Perform pre-deployment assessments and readiness checks
- Configure and manage deployment tools (Intune, SCCM, Autopilot)
- Troubleshoot and resolve post-deployment issues
- Collaborate with IT support teams to ensure a smooth rollout
- Document processes, configurations, and lessons learned
- Provide training or guidance to end users as needed
Other stuff we're potentially looking for:
- Proven experience in Windows 10/11 deployment projects
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune/SCCM)
- Familiarity with Autopilot, Group Policy, and Active Directory
- Experience with imaging, scripting (PowerShell), and device provisioning
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- A per hour rate, in-scope IR35, of £19.38/hr (PAYE) OR £25.15/hr (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).
