Summary

CHILD DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
30 hours per week, 39 weeks term time, Cardonald Campus
£30,671 per annum (£23,786 pro rata including holiday pay)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Development Officer to enhance the learning experience of the children within our Cardonald Campus nursery.

Main Responsibilities:

• To provide a high standard of care to children up to the age of five;
• To provide nursery care for children in a safe, comfortable and stimulating environment;
• To work as part of a team to deliver high quality education and care;
• To ensure the welfare and safety of the children in your care;
• To contribute toward the monitoring and development of the service; and
• To plan and implement learning experiences in conjunction with nursery staff team and Nursery management.

Requirements:
• SCQF level 7 (HNC or equivalent) relevant qualification or relevant experience in a similar role
• SSSC registration
• Knowledge f the pre-5 curriculum
• Experience and knowledge of collaborative working
• Good communication skills
• Child Development skills
• ICT literate

Salary: £23,786 pro rata including holiday pay)
Location: Cardonald Campus - however, there may be a requirement for you to work in one of the other campuses from time to time
