Summary
Position Summary
Must have previous experience.
Responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate sheet metal according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components.
Interpret and work from engineering drawings and work orders.
Select, install, and align tooling, dies, and fixtures.
Perform quality checks using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
Adjust machine settings to maintain tolerances and production efficiency.
Maintain accurate production records and follow company procedures.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
