Summary
We are looking for a skilled Machine Tool Fitter with an apprentice-trained background to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly, installation, and maintenance of packaging machinery and associated equipment
Mechanical fitting, alignment, and troubleshooting of machine tools
International travel to customer sites for installation, servicing, and support
Working closely with engineering teams to ensure high standards of build and reliability
Requirements:
Time-served apprenticeship in mechanical fitting / machine tool fitting (or equivalent)
Strong hands-on mechanical skills with attention to detail
Willingness to travel abroad, sometimes at short notice
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of packaging machinery an advantage, but not essential
