Summary
Vehicle Technician
Location: Crawley
Salary: up to £44,000 basic per annum, DOE, plus bonus and overtime, OTE £55,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 1 in 3 Saturdays

Role Overview – Vehicle Technician
• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
Requirements – Vehicle Technician
• Previous experience as a vehicle technician and hold a relevant, up-to-date qualification, such as an NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• An MOT qualification would be a significant bonus
• Full UK driving licence
• Attention to detail and a sharp eye for issues others may overlook—which is essential for safe and accurate diagnostics.
• You must also own a well-stocked toolbox
