Summary
Line Leader - Food Production
Location: Bellshill, Scotland
Hours: Monday to Friday | 5:15am - 1:45pm
Pay: £13.68 - £14.42 per hour + overtime
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Line Leader to join a fast-growing food production team at a state-of-the-art facility in Bellshill. The successful candidate will oversee daily production line activities, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate production lines to meet daily output targets
- Monitor quality and safety compliance throughout the production process
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain line efficiency
- Keep detailed production records and reports
- Train, supervise, and support production team members
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Communicate regularly with the Production Manager regarding progress and challenges
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a production line leadership or supervisory role preferred but not essential
- Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
- Comfortable using digital tools such as tablets and software
- Understanding of food production standards and best practices
Desirable:
- Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments
- Access to personal transport (public transport available)
Overtime Rates:
- Monday to Saturday: 1.5x hourly rate
- Sunday: 2x hourly rate
