Based in Huntingdon, they work with leading names in the automotive and motorsport industries, supplying high-quality bespoke parts. They are looking for a Manual Router Operator / Fabricator who is keen to build their career in a hands-on manufacturing environment, producing complex components to the highest standards.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Operate manual routing and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and machine metal to precise tolerances
- Carry out manual forming, bending, and adjusting of components to achieve correct fit and finish
- Work accurately from engineering drawings, patterns, and templates
- Smooth edges, remove burrs, and ensure a high-quality surface finish
- Maintain workshop machinery and tools in safe working order
- Collaborate with engineers and fellow fabricators to meet production deadlines and quality standards
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience working with aluminum
- Skilled in operating a Manual Router
- Strong fabrication experience, including aluminum forming
- Experience in Motorsport or Automotive manufacturing would be an advantage
