Summary
Senior Operations Specialist - Collateral
A leading financial institution is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Associate to join their Operations team, supporting a broad range of financial products and contributing to the growth of their Collateral Management function.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage confirmation and settlement processes for collateral products such as Repo, Derivatives, and CSA.
- Maintain compliance with internal procedures and quality standards.
- Collaborate with front office and operations teams to enhance service delivery.
- Communicate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate operational issues promptly.
- Support project testing and contribute to process improvements.
- Share knowledge and best practices across teams to improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience
- Solid understanding of collateral management and settlement processes.
- Experience with financial systems (e.g., Smartstream Algorithmics is a plus).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage time effectively.
- Experience in mentoring or training team members is advantageous.
