Summary
To provide leadership in provision of Restorative Dental Care for Head & Neck cancer To always work collaboratively with adjacent dental specialties, ensuring the safest and most efficient patient journeys are achieved To take part in national clinical excellence networks for H&N cancer To actively contribute to continuous service development and audit programme of the Restorative Dentistry department, improving protocols for patient care, developing clinical guidelines, To take active part in postgraduate training programmes To be an active Clinical and Educational Supervisor of trainee dentists; supervising and mentoring the junior clinical staff working in the department The appointee will be expected to take an active part in the Clinical Governance activities, both in relation to continuing professional development and the quality and effectiveness of clinical services. To undertake administrative and management duties appropriate to the post and to contribute to the management process of the service and wider Trust where appropriate
