An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Stafford Leys Primary School as a Learning Support Assistant on a fixed term basis until 23rd August 2026. There are a number of posts available with a range of working hours required which can be discussed at interview. All posts will require the applicants to work Monday to Friday, across the school. Please see below for further details on hours available. The Learning Support Assistant is responsible for providing support to our pupils and teachers within the school to provide a high quality education and targeted provision. The successful candidates will work with whole classes, small groups of children and pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) on an individual 1:1 basis. This role is a rewarding one with a successful candidate having the opportunity to gain more experience in the classroom, and work with a supportive team.Posts available (All posts are for 39 weeks, Term Time + Inset days and are fixed term until 23rd August 2026): Post 1: 27.5 hours per week; 8:45am – 3:15pm Monday to Friday with one hour lunch break. Salary - £16,024 - £16,278 per annum (actual salary) Post 2: 17.5 hours per week; 11:45am – 3:15pm Monday to Friday. Salary - £10,197 - £10,358 per annum (actual salary) Post 3: 22.25 hours per week; 8:45am – 1:15pm Mon to Fri, with a 15 min earlier finish one day per week Salary - £12,965 - £13,170 per annum (actual salary)
