Production Operative (Wooden Case Assembly)

Production Operatives required for an industry leading engineering service provider to manufacturing companies. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company with a stable history who can offer full training and job security.
This position would suit candidates with experience of working in a hands-on role. Candidates with experience working with hand tools, within production, assembly or similar environments are encouraged to apply.
Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for the preparation and packaging of equipment to ensure it withstands being lifted, shopped and stored. This will involve building custom wooden crates, foam lining and bubble wrapping equipment.
The Production Operative Role:
· Building wooden crates for shipment
· Foam lining, bubble wrapping and foil bagging
· Locking machines using brackets to ensure they are secured
· Indicating lifting points, temperature control requirements etc.
· Use of hands tools
· Occasional travel when required
· Full training provided
The Production Operative Candidate:
· Hands on experience
· Experience in production, assembly, build etc.
· Experience with hand and power tools
