Job Description: Join our dynamic Technology team as an IT Business Systems Analyst, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and supporting the systems that drive our visionary logistics solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Championing Business-Critical Systems: Configure, maintain, and support essential line-of-business systems that power our operations and enable us to deliver cutting-edge logistics solutions.
  • Driving Change and Innovation: Lead the planning, implementation, and testing of system updates, feature releases, and configuration changes - whether part of strategic projects or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Delivering Scalable Solution: Roll out our standard system solutions and processes to new sites and customers, ensuring consistency and scalability across the business.
  • Modernising Operations: Migrate legacy systems and outdated processes to our group-standard platforms, unlocking efficiency and future-readiness.
  • Optimising for Impact: Continuously refine system configurations and processes to ensure they're fully aligned with business needs and delivering maximum value.
  • Collaborating with Key Partners: Build strong relationships with external system vendors to support solution delivery and resolve escalated issues swiftly.
  • Partnering Across the Business: Work closely with operational teams to tailor solutions that make work easier, more efficient, and more rewarding for our people.
  • Ensuring Seamless IT Operations: Collaborate with other Technology teams to maintain secure, monitored, and well-supported systems across the organisation.
  • Leading Quality Assurance: Define testing requirements, write scripts, and coordinate testing to ensure smooth and successful system changes and implementations.
  • Creating Clarity and Confidence: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation, including process flows, training materials, and support guides.
  • Shaping the Future: Contribute to the roadmap for system enhancements, helping to steer the evolution of our technology landscape.
  • Supporting Smooth Transitions: Provide hands-on support during system changes and implementations, ensuring a smooth transition to business-as-usual operations.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience of configuring IT applications - ideally logistics / ERP / TMS / WMS / Finance or HR systems - but other equivalent systems experience will be considered.
  • Communication Skills: Confident in supporting users of varying technical ability.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in builds and documentation.
  • Self-Management: Ability to manage workload and meet project deadlines.
  • Travel Ready: Full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle insured for business use, and willingness to travel.
