Summary

Primary Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the PCN team, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment. Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the delivery of efficient and effective services. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategies for the PCN, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and healthcare policies. Work to continuously improve care delivery models and outcomes. Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with local healthcare providers, community organisations, and stakeholders. Act as the main point of contact between the PCN and external partners. Project Management: Oversee key PCN projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with regulatory requirements. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed. Quality and Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess and monitor the quality of services provided within the PCN. Lead efforts to enhance patient care quality, safety, and satisfaction. Collect and analyse data to inform decision-making and quality improvement initiatives. Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage the budget for the PCN, ensuring financial resources are allocated efficiently. Monitor and control expenditure, ensuring financial compliance with organizational policies. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the PCN adheres to relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and policies. Stay informed on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to keep the network compliant. Training and Development: Identify training needs for staff within the PCN and coordinate professional development opportunities. Support the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of team members. Patient Experience: Work with the clinical and non-clinical teams to enhance the patient experience within the PCN. Gather patient feedback and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and care outcomes. Digital & Transformation Strategic Planning To lead and develop a strategic plan that includes a robust digital infrastructure To proactively build relationships with system leaders to help influence proactive and new models of care To use business intelligence tools to aid data-driven decisions
