Summary
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established civil engineering and construction contractor for an experienced Site Manager to join their team in Aberdeenshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of key civil engineering and groundworks projects in the region.
As a Site Manager, you will:
* Lead and manage site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
* Coordinate and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Work closely with Contracts Managers, Engineers, and Commercial teams to achieve project goals.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
* Manage resources effectively, including labour, plant, and materials.
* Provide regular progress reports and resolve any site issues promptly.
We're looking for someone who has:
* A proven track record as a Site Manager within civil engineering, groundworks, or infrastructure.
* Strong leadership and people-management skills.
* A sound understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice.
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
* The ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and programmes.
* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (preferred).
