Summary
Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Preschool Team Leader to join our nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role requires effective management and leadership skills to foster a positive learning atmosphere while ensuring the safety and well-being of all of the children.
The position is 40 hours per week for 40 weeks of the year. Holidays to be taken in the school holidays, additional payment will be received for holidays due to being on a term time contract.
What We’re Looking For
Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting, minimum of 1 year.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
A warm, caring, and patient approach.
Knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the pre-school room, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
Plan, deliver, and review engaging activities that support early development.
Provide guidance and support to a small team of practitioners.
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and EYFS standards are met.
Monitor and record children’s progress, sharing updates with families.
A minimum of 1 year working specifically with children.
